ELECTRONIC
REGISTRATION
We would like to encourage everyone to
use the electronic registration sheet located at our web page.
Our web site is http://www.mcsf.net
From the homepage, follow the link to registration
and just read the on-line instructions. The registration page is similar to the
paper copy and should be easy to fill out if you have all the information
indicated on the paper copy. After you
have completed the on-line registration, we would like you to e-mail it to us
(press the submit e-mail button on the web page) and then print a copy to be
included in the mailing to the director.
Even though you can register
electronically, the director still needs a hard copy of the registration forms,
research plans, other appropriate forms and photo release. I must match these with the electronic
registrations in order to officially enter the students in the fair.
The electronic copy will actually be
entered into our database immediately and the paper copy will act as a
back-up. We encourage you to submit the
electronic registration as soon as possible, even before you have had your
fair. After the final decisions have
been made at your local science fair, you can e-mail us with any deletions or
changes.
We have an on-line system set-up where
teachers will be able to view which projects from their school are currently
registered. Upon request our webmaster
can give you a password to view the entrants from your school. If you detect any errors in the list or
entrants, you can contact us immediately to try to alleviate the problem.
Any questions about the web
registration system can be addressed to Chris Coyle. [Christopher.Coyle@pnl.gov.

After the registrations have been
submitted electronically, send the hard copies, sponsor checklist, research
plans, registration lists and entry fees to the director at
There will be a teachers meeting
Thursday, March 11 at 1:00 P.M. Please
bring any comments and ideas for discussion.
Sincerely,
Joyce
